At MB2 Raceway in Sylmar, our team is the heartbeat of the experience—and this month, we’re excited to celebrate one of our most positive and hard-working crew members: Sam, our Employee of the Month!

Sam has been part of the MB2 family for a year now, working as a Cashier & Event Host. Always friendly and upbeat, she’s known for turning even the busiest shifts into fun ones—thanks to the great energy she shares with her coworkers. “My coworkers turn any shift into a great one,” she says, and it shows in the way the whole team lights up when she’s around.

In addition to her daily contributions, Sam has received numerous outstanding reviews from guests who’ve attended events she’s hosted. Her ability to create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for every group makes her a standout team member.

Outside of MB2, Sam enjoys spending her free time painting and hanging out with her family. She’s also preparing for an exciting new chapter—starting classes at College of the Canyons in Valencia later this August!

Her favorite meal? Burgers. Her favorite flower? Sunflowers. Just like her favorite bloom, Sam brings warmth and good vibes wherever she goes.

We’re proud to have her on the team and even prouder to highlight everything that makes her awesome.

MB2 Raceway Sylmar is proud to recognize Jose, our dedicated Track Crew Lead, as this month’s Employee of the Month! With over a year and a half of experience, Jose brings professionalism, patience, and energy to everything he does—especially when it comes to keeping our track running smoothly.

A lifelong resident of nearby Arleta, Jose balances work with being a student at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). When he’s not managing the high-octane excitement at MB2, he enjoys downtime with friends and family—and capturing life’s moments through photography, one of his favorite hobbies.

When it comes to food, Jose can’t pick just one—he’s a big fan of steaks and tacos. As for his favorite part of working at MB2? It’s all about watching first-time racers light up with excitement as they hit the track for the first time.

Jose’s attention to detail and steady leadership help make MB2 Sylmar the unforgettable experience our guests love. We’re lucky to have him on the team!

Employee of the Month: Justin – A Love For The Track at MB2 Raceway in Sylmar

Justin is our Employee of the Month for June 2025. He works as a Track Lead and Mechanic and has been with MB2 for over a year and a half. He grew up in nearby Santa Clarita and has been visiting MB2 since he was a kid. His favorite attraction at the park is the racetrack. Justin enjoys a good steak dinner with asparagus and potatoes. Outside of work, he loves outdoor adventures like desert camping and jet skiing. We’re proud to recognize him for his dedication, positive energy, and love for the track.

Justin has been an essential part of the MB2 Raceway Sylmar team for over a year and a half, serving as both a Track Lead and Mechanic. His dedication to the track, attention to detail, and passion for all things racing truly elevate the guest experience at our location.

A lifelong resident of nearby Santa Clarita, Justin has a special connection to MB2—he’s been coming here since he was a kid! One of his earliest memories includes celebrating a birthday here with his grandma, which makes it all the more meaningful that he now helps create lasting memories for the next generation of racers.

When he’s not helping guests have a thrilling time at the track, you can find Justin enjoying the outdoors. Whether it’s desert camping, jet skiing at the local lakes, or just soaking in nature, he’s always chasing adventure. And when it comes to food? Nothing beats a good steak dinner with asparagus and potatoes in his book!

Of course, Justin’s favorite MB2 attraction is what drew him here in the first place: the racetrack. His enthusiasm for racing and guest safety is evident in everything he does, and we’re lucky to have him on our team.
